three hundred year old quartet in 2011

We're so happy you found us we had to smile and sing

Sheepscot Sound

…a senior quartet with a century of singing experience; members of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an international organization with headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.

Their eclectic repertoire runs the gamut from Berlin to the Beatles, with doo-wop and swing stops in-between. If you’ve been going to the Fryeburg Fair, you might have caught their act performing as strolling minstrels on Senior Tuesdays. Of course that was outdoors – but you should hear them sing indoors.

Fortunately, they don’t take themselves too seriously – and you shouldn’t, too! They’re at their best when having fun entertaining you with terrible jokes and shaggy dog stories till you wished they’d stop and start singing another song. And if you’re not too careful, they might have you get up and sing along with them. To sum up, you’re in for a heck of a good time when you call in…
